I'm sorry to say it but I'm not really getting the text in art, and I really don't think it is something that I would be interested in progressing with any further than this exercise.
Artists find many ways to express their creativity, much like photographers can in their photographs. The examples given from the likes of Barbara Kruger (1) and Richard Long (2) don't strike me as conventional photography but the purpose of this exercise is to get us thinking about expressing our photographic creativity but alternative means but it doesn't come easy for me.
I found an article (3) with a collection of images, including work from the artists named in the exercise, but even looking through the selection of images, I can't really connect with them on any level.
