Exercise 4.5: Signifier - Signified

I am only brushing over this exercise. I couldn't get my head around Barthes at all so i'm not going to attempt to even pretend that I have made any sense of it.

It was difficult to try to find a decent advert for this exercise as most of the adverts that i saw were all packaged goods. Is that a hint at how society is now? Prefers a processed and convenient meal nowadays as opposed to fresh produce and natural cooking.

In the style of the example given, I came up with the following signs.
